Our Services

AAMPS provides services to the full spectrum of senior living facilities.

* Nursing Homes
* Assisted Living Centers
* Independent Living Centers

We also make house calls through our Home Foot Care division anywhere in the Bexar County and Travis County area. The mobile clinic does not, however, make individual house calls.

If you have a living facility or large company whose residents or employees can benefit from not making separate excursions to the podiatrist's office please contact us at our San Antonio office at 210-545-FEET (3338) or at our Austin office at 512-407-8300 . We would be pleased to discuss scheduling our mobile clinic to come to your living facility or company. These visits can be set up on a periodic calendar basis with podiatry coverage as needed between scheduled visits in case of an emergency situation.

Our podiatrists provide a full range of podiatry services including:

AAMPS is now offering testing for Peripheral Arterial Disease with the new PADnet+ technology.

PADnet+ is a testing device used by our medical technicians to test patients for PAD, peripheral arterial disease, which affects over 10 million individuals in the United States. The PADnet+ device easily and quickly allows for ankle-brachial index exams and pulse volume recordings. Using the information gathered from these tests, a vascular specialist can asses the presence and severity of peripheral arterial disease. Patients with diabetes are five times more likely to have PAD and have twice the risk for having a stroke than non-diabetics. AAMPS is committed to combating the problems of under diagnosis and under treatment of PAD amongst those affected by this condition. If you present the risk factors that are identified with peripheral arterial disease, one of our podiatric technicians will come to the privacy of your home and perform the PADnet+ test in less than 30 minutes. Results of the test should be available in less than 72 hours and a further course of action will be identified. AAMPS will also send a letter to your primary care physician, notifying him or her, the results of this exam. For more information about the PADnet+ device, go to the BioMedix website.

Now Selling Medical Crocs

Who says medical shoes have to be unfashionable? AAMPS is proud to be a vendor of CrocsRx, shoes that are ideal for patients with conditions such as diabetes, impaired blood flow, neuromas, bunions, hammertoes, and foot pain. Some of these stylish shoes include silver particles that allow for an antifungal and antibacterial environment within the shoe. Our podiatrists will work with you to determine which shoe is appropriate for your specific foot needs.

Diabetic Footwear

AAMPS also offers Dr. Comfort shoes, a leader in diabetic footwear. Diabetics are allowed one new pair of diabetic shoes per year under the Medicare program, with many styles to choose from. A technician from our office will come fit you for your shoes and then deliver them to you personally when the shoes become available.
